About Professional Supervision

During professional supervision Therese creates a safe space allowing for a reflective learning model to be used, with the core functions of accountability, education and support. This is combined with a strengths based approach. 

Therese Peters has qualifications in social work, law, several complimentary therapies and a Level 1 Supervisor Certificate. She is a member of the Australian Association of Social Workers and International Institute for Complementary Therapists. Coupled with her wide ranging work experience across all sectors in health, wellbeing, mental health, disability, human rights law, performance reviews, auditing, corruption prevention, project management and construction makes her well suited to offer supervision to a range of professionals, including Social Workers, Lawyers and Allied Health. She has held many management and supervisory roles and provided professional supervision, training and support across these areas. For the past 8 years, Therese has been providing professional supervision to clients in her private practice and to social work students, individually and in groups as part of their university studies.

Cost: $185.00 for a 1 hour supervision session in person or via google meet.
